As part of our partnership with the City of Oceanside, we’ve created the Oceanside Recycled Drum Corp!

Inspired by Landfill Harmonic’s Recycled Orchestra, we’re combining Environmental Awareness and Arts Education. Students involved in the Oceanside Recycled Drum Corp use recycled and repurposed materials to create percussion instruments and will have the opportunity to perform as a large group at the North County Earth Festival on Sunday, April 27th in Downtown Oceanside.

There are currently two age groups that we’re working with, Elementary/Middle School and High School. Read below for information on how your child can participate.

Coin Drive 2014

February 10, 2014 — Leave a comment

Coin Drive FlyerOur daughter, Maggie, had the wonderful idea of starting a Coin Drive at the studio to help people in need around the world. Inspired by the World Vision Gift Catalogs we were sent around Christmastime, she has picked out several goals for us to work toward.

We’re always cleaning loose change out of our pockets and cars…so we thought there might be a few folks in our Coastal Music Community who would have a few cents here and there to toss in the jar as we save and send our spare change to change lives.

We’ll celebrate our goals with you throughout the year as we reach them together.

Here is a quick list (we’ve included links so you can read about what each gift will do) of the goals we’ve set to start off Coin Drive 2014:

$18 | Bed Nets for 1 Family
$19 | 1 Rabbit
$21 | 3 Ducks
$25 | 2 Chickens
$22 | Promise Pack [school & hygiene supplies & a blanket]
$30 | 5 Fruit Trees
$50 | Ship & Deliver a Child’s Wheelchair
$50 | $500 Worth of Medicines
$50 | $500 Worth of School Supplies
$50 | $500 Worth of New Clothing
$75 | 1 Goat to a Single Mom in Africa
